Expands on the competencies acquired in ECE 232, Field Placement II, by focusing on the skills needed to work as part of a teaching team and transform knowledge of child development into developmentally appropriate curriculum planning. Opportunities to gain experiences by communicating effectively with parents, staff and children in an approved early childhood environment will be provided. Increased responsibility for all aspects of teaching and leading children including handling transitions, behavior management and planning curriculum will be emphasized. (2 lec, 4 practicum) Must have a grade of C or better to pass this course. Open only to matriculated students in ECE. Prerequisite: ECE 232
