Provides the student with the opportunity to develop attitudes in welding safety, skills in arc welding fundamentals, operation of welding machine power sources, and accessories, electrode classification and selection, and welding fillet gauge use. It provides training for skill development necessary to make welds in all positions using E6010 electrodes. An introduction to E7018 low hydrogen electrodes is also included. 4-week course (80 hr)
