Students learn simple CNC programming using G-code and M-code. Course is centered around programming the Fanuc Oi and OM controllers on vertical spindle milling machines. Programs will run on simulation software. First semester "hands-on" activities on the machines will be limited to machine set-up for tool length offsets and work coordinate systems.
