Emphasis is on preparation for state and national board examinations and assurance of clinical competency. Course content is tailored to the specific needs of the students. Lecture and lab each meet two hours per week. Lecture provides two credit hours and lab provides one credit hour. Any grade below a "C" is unacceptable in the Veterinary Technology Program and the course must be retaken for the completion of the degree.
