This course provides an overview of Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, including historical foundations, healthcare infrastructure, and laboratory safety. An emphasis on medical ethics, medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, employment forecasts, laboratory mathematics, as well as the basics of laboratory specimen collection techniques (Phlebotomy) and lab equipment will be introduced.
