This is a course in architectural drafting using the most current version of AutoDesk Architectural Desktop. It provides hands-on training in the areas of Basic House Design, Primary Considerations, Room Planning, Plot Plans, Foundation Plans, Sill and Floor Construction, Wall and Ceiling Construction, Doors and Windows, Stairs, Fireplaces and Chimneys, and Floor Plans, Roof designs, Elevations, Electrical Plans, Plumbing Plans, Climate Control Plans, Perspective Plans, Specifications, and Estimating Building Cost. Lecture two hours. Laboratory two hours. Prerequisite: EGT 1114 or consent of instructor.
