Covers directional terminology, developmental anatomy and histology as well as gross morphology and function of external structures in animal species. Beginning course in a two-semester sequence. Lecture and lab meet four contact hours per week. Lecture provides three contact hours; lab provides one credit hour. Any grade below a "C" is unacceptable in the Veterinary Technology Program and the course must be retaken for the completion of the degree.
