Includes crime analysis types and how they are used in the criminal justice environment, the crime analysis process, crime mapping, and computer software applications used in crime analysis. Prerequisites: Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and skills by passing the basic Microsoft Word word processing and basic Microsoft Excel spreadsheets sections within the Crime and Intelligence Analysis Course Prerequisite Assessment test, or permission of instructor.
