This course covers principles of good nutrition for all age groups and modifications for therapeutic purposes including religious, ethnic, or cultural variations. This study allows students to focus on normal nutrition, prevention of disease and the role of nutrition in the ill client. Nutritional concepts are integrated through the entire curriculum. Prerequisite: LPN 1104, LPN 1103. This course is a prerequisite to all subsequent term courses.
