1 - 6 credit hours Prerequisite: BIO 201 and 202, MAT 100 Co requisite: ENG 121, PSY 235, BIO 204 Introduces selected concepts related to the role of the AD nurse as a provider of care, teacher, manager, client advocate and member of the profession. Emphasis is placed on application of critical thinking in providing and managing comprehensive care in a variety of health care settings with clients across the lifespan. This course is designed to assist the licensed practical nurse (LPN) with the transition in to the practice of professional nursing.
