Introduces pathophysiology and management of selected diseases, based on body systems. These include infectious and communicable diseases, allergies and anaphylaxis, vascular, toxicology and hematology, neurological, endocrine, renal, and gastronenterology emergencies and systems. An overview of common laboratory and diagnostics tests is presented. (45 lec hours, 10 lab hours) Pre-requisites: EMS 201, EMS 202, EMS 205, EMS 206, currently licensed EMT-Intermediate, successful completion of all NEEMS required preadmission testing, and advisor approval
