The course focuses on clients throughout the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on mental health concepts, selected common psychiatric disorders, treatment modalities and related nursing care. This course is designed to assist the Practical Nurse in caring for clients with varied psychosocial and ethno cultural backgrounds.
