Catalog Description Study of theories, concepts and issues relevant to the psychological development of women. Topics include: gender differences, personality, achievement motivation, moral development, autonomy, mental health, domestic violence. (3 hrs. lect.) (Cross-listed as WS 202.) Prerequisite: Credit for PSY 100 or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes Articulate and illustrate an understanding that psychological gender differences are typically small. Identify and discuss important areas of culture where women are less visible than men. Demonstrate understanding that people react differently to men and women. Compare and contrast the wide variations among women.
