Catalog Description Continuation of HAW 101. (5 hrs. lect./lab.) Prerequisite: Credit for HAW 101 or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes Demonstrate the increased ability to comprehend and respond to basic spoken Hawaiian about daily activities, about the student's life and interests and to narrate past, present and future events. Demonstrate the increased ability to read and write Hawaiian sentences using more grammatical patterns and a working vocabulary of some 1,000 words, plus idiomatic expressions. Speak Hawaiian with increasing fluency and with correct inflection, intonation and rhythm.
