Introduces the student of the mathematics that have applications in various technologies. Students will focus upon connections between various fields of mathematics, and between mathematics and real world applications. Topics include set theory, number theory, combinatorics, measurement, geometry, algebra, trigonometry and basic statistics. Designed to address mathematics via the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics connections standard. Prerequisite: Appropriate score on placement test or equivalent.
