The purpose of this course is to instill knowledge and appreciation for the relationship between physical fitness and health. This multi-level activity course concentrates on the practice of mat Pilates. Pilates is a body conditioning method incorporating proper breathing, for the purpose of developing strength, balance, flexibility, longer, leaner musculature, postural alignment, and mindbody awareness.
