Prerequisites: NUR 111, NUR 136, MTH 126, BIO 141 Focuses on the nursing care of individuals and/or families experiencing changes along the health/illness continuum that are common, well-defined, and have predictable outcomes. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 4 hours, Laboratory 12 hours, Total 16 hours per week.
