Introduces theory, operation and maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatics devices and systems. Emphasizes the properties of fluids, fluid flow, fluid statics, and the application of Bernouli's equation. Lecture 2-3 hours, Laboratory 2-3 hours, Total 4-6 hours per week. MDL 101 Introduction to Medical Laboratory Techniques (2 credits) Introduces the basic principles, techniques, and vocabulary applicable to all phases of medical laboratory technology. Lecture 1 hour, Laboratory 3 hours, Total 4 hours per week.
