Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Radiography Program. Presents brief history of radiologic profession, code of ethics, conduct for radiologic students, and basic fundamentals of radiation protection. Teaches the care and handling of the sick and injured patient in the radiology department. Introduces the use of contract media necessary in the investigation of the internal organs. Lecture 2-3 hours per week.
