Prerequisites: NUR 111 112 -136 137 226; MTH 126; BIO 141 142 Emphasizes nursing care of individuals, families and/or groups in various stages of development who are experiencing alterations related to their biopsychosocial needs. Uses all components of the nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Includes math computational skills and basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies. Lecture 4 hours per week, Laboratory 12 hours, Total 16 hours per week.
