Prerequisite : MAC 106, 107 Focuses on machining principles and calculations necessary for the precision required by the machinist. Emphasizes advanced lathe and mill work with concentration on fits, finishes, inspections and quality control. CNC Programming and operation, included conversational programming, may be emphasized. Teaches design and construction of specific projects to determine the student's operational knowledge of all equipment. Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 3 hours, Total 5 hours per week.
