Prerequisites: EMS 151,153 Continues DOT's National Intermediate and /or Paramedic curricula. Includes ALS pharmacology, drug and fluid administration with emphasis on patient assessment, differential diagnosis and management of multiple medical complaints. These include, but are not limited to conditions relating to cardiac, diabetic, neurological, non-traumatic abdominal pain, environmental, behavioral, gynecology, and toxicological disease conditions. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
