This course is a survey of natural and artificial radiation sources and their effects on cell tissue and organisms including basic criteria and methods of survey, patient and occupational dose analysis and control effects on environmental quality. It covers familiarity with control agencies and appropriate regulations, legal aspects of control, accidents and radiation incidents, and facility/area design. Prerequisite: RADT 1220.
