This course focuses on the applicatin of nursing process principles to meet roles adn responsibilities of the Associate Degree Registered Nurse in the management of client care. The student's use of core concepts and competencies is expanded to include planning, directing, and evaluating client care in various clinical settings. The course is structured around nursing, the nursing process, and decision making as it relates to the management of groups of clients, direction of health team members, and financial and economic factors that influence today's comple complex health care environment. Health promotion, interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, and legal-ethical aspects of managing client care are emphasized.
