This course continues the emphasis on assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies to promote, maintain and restore optimum health for diverse clients experiencing alterations in life functions. The alterations in life functions include fluid/gas transport, activity/mobility, nutrition/metabolism, and elimination. Students apply a clinical decision making process in caring for the client in a varity of acute care, ambulatory, and community based setting.
