The emphasis of this course is on user-centered Web design practices including methodologies for usable content and site navigation; identification of target audiences and their needs; and maintenance and ongoing evaluation of Web sites. Topics include target audience analysis, physical and visual design issues, universal design including usability and accessibility, design and development tools. and marketing and maintenance of web content. One computer per student is assigned for the course.
