This course is designed to be a continuation of IE 2014, CNC and Robotics. Primary emphasis is placed on the logical analysis and problem-solving techniques associated with the operation and maintenance of CNC machining centers and industrial robots. Advanced programming features such as mirror imaging, polar rotation, datum shifts, turning, and threading are presented. Off-line computers used in CAD/CAM/CIM systems are covered along with robotic applications. Hands-on labs are featured.
