The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the growing use of electronic methods for conducting business. Topics covered include both technical and business issues for implementation and strategies of electronic marketing, sales, promotion, purchasing, logistics, and support activities. Legal and ethical issues are also discussed. Case studies and individual projects will be used to provide business examples from conceptual models and real-world events. Prerequisites: DSPR 0800 or equivalent, DSPW 0800 or equivalent, MGMT 1000, and ISDS 2600 Internet for Business, or permission of an advisor.
