This course covers the various plumbing and pipefitting connections and types of pipe normally used in industry. The practical applications of materials, tools, and calculations necessary for the layout of plumbing, pipefitting, and gas systems are emphasized. Laboratory work includes layout, cutting, bending, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of a typical process, utility and waste piping system. Labs also include the valves and fittings peculiar to each system.
