This class will cover production and placement of graphic images into electronic documents for display over the Internet. Students will be introduced to the World Wide Web (WWW) and basics of human interface design including creation and placement of icons, preparation of graphic files for use on the WWW including GIF, animated GIF, JPEG, and animated web graphic formats, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) tabs for establishing links, and creating client-side image maps, tables and frames. Students will create and load a personal web site for display over the Internet. computer per student is assigned for the course.
