This course covers the basic principles of air conditioning and refrigeration, including, but not limited to, theory, refrigerants, systems evacuation, system charging, controls, metering devices, evaporators, condensers, compressors, heat pumps, and troubleshooting. The proper use of tools and equipment as well as personal safety is stressed throughout.
