In this advanced course, students receive a thorough overview of the installation, management, maintenance and utilities of local area networks (LAN). The primary topics cover Novell's NetWare LAN hardware and software selection, implementation and administration. Additional topics include Inter- and Intra-LAN communications and the technical issues of NetWare implementations. One computer per student is assigned for the course.
