This course is a continuation of Basic Emergency Medical Technology and further develops the student's knowledge of pre-hospital care used by the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Recognition and treatment of traumatic emergencies are covered. Also, instruction in EMS operation is included. All skills will be carried over and completed by the conclusion of EMT 1050.
