This course covers terminology and the basic techniques and fundamentals of drafting to prepare the student to read blueprints and for more advanced classes in engineering drawing. Lettering techniques, use of drawing instruments and scales, applied geometric construction, orthographic projection, isometric drawing, and drawing layout procedures are covered.
