This course provides an introduction to color theory and perception and the use of color introducing electronic images. Students compose original images as they learn advanced features of pixel based editing software. Emphasis is placed on advanced editing techniques, creating corrected and mastering color control. Color theory and how we perceive color is explored in order to develop control over color correction. One Macintosh computer per student is assigned for the course.
