Training for Hazardous Materials Team Members was developed in response to growing concern over the increased risk of occupational exposure to toxic substances. The risk has escalated in recent years because of the proliferation of chemical, biological, and other types of hazards. Strategies for effective responses to the countless numbers of hazards posed by new products and combinations of products will be presented.
