This course is designed to teach basic dog obedience which includes lessons of walking on a leash, sitting, staying, coming, healing, and sitting down. It emphasizes the importance of the dog being the pack leader and the owner enjoying the companionship of the dog. Owners also learn to understand why dogs do what they do. All dogs must be current on all shots and show proof of a shot record. Equipment and Course Requirements: Dogs should not be fed before start of class, dogs must show current shot records, dogs must have choke chain, dogs must have 6 ft. leash, dogs must have water bowls with water, and dogs must not be in heat.
