This course is designed for beginner level players. After attending the New Players I class, the student, with practice, should be able to follow other dulcimer classes throughout the year. This course will focus on getting the student started in introductory tuning, strumming techniques and reading tablature. No previous musical experience is necessary. Learn tunes that are commonly played at jam sessions and tips on how to play with other instruments in a group setting. Some loaner dulcimers are available.
