The Modern-Western Square Dance class will assist and cover the basic beginning steps of square dancing. This dance is designed for four couples or groups of four couples to perform in a compact framework of a square with each couple forming a side. The couples perform a variety of movements prompted by the patter or singing calls (instructions) of a caller.
