This course is an introduction to the basic principles of real property appraisal and provides a foundation for the Real Property Appraisal Procedures course. During instruction, primary references will be regarding residential property characteristics. This 30 hour course is the first of two courses and provides the initial 30 hours of instruction required for registration as an appraiser trainee in Tennessee. It is approved for qualifying and continuing appraisal education by the Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser Commission.
