This course provides the student an introduction to sports first aid and injury prevention and covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED). Students learn how to fulfill the role of a competent first responder to athletic injuries and illness. Sport First Aid is recognized by numerous state high school associations and school districts as meeting first aid requirements for coaches.
