This course is designed to strengthen the Exceptional Family Member (EFM) Program. thus, providing better support to the fleet, sailors and their families. Course topics will include suitability screening, early intervention, humanitarian assignments, TRICARE, DOD education and other related services. Upon completion of this training, attendees will be able to explain the major components of the EFM Program (enrollments, forms screening committee, assignments) and establish a network for implementing the program at their assigned commands.
