This course covers the practical aspects of conducting a home inspection (foundations, termites, construction, roofing, plumbing, electricity, HVAC, appliances, pools, spas, and environmental factors). In addition to classroom instruction, a field trip allows students to experience a step-by-step home inspection. Home inspection agreements, checklists, reporting, ethical issues, and industry certifications and associations are also covered. This course is approved by the by the State of Tennessee Home Inspector Licensing Program and the Mississippi Home Inspector Regulatory Board.
