Students will continue building a 'sign' vocabulary to communicate with the deaf and the hard-of-hearing through increased fluency in finger-spelling using the manual alphabet; continue to develop expressive skills while starting to gain improved comprehensive skills; attend class where no voice is allowed; and, at the end, be able to demonstrate expressive and receptive skills through participation in simple conversation. This class will also help students to improve vocabulary, numbers, grammar, interpreting skills, and enhance your recognition of classifiers. Prerequisite: Beginning American Sign Language.
