Mediation is a third party neutral Intervention process that is an alternative to Litigation. Family Mediation and Civil Mediation are the two main areas of Mitigation. Family Mediation focuses on equitable distribution, support and custody issues in divorce, as well as emotional issues. Civil Mediation covers employment, business, personal injury, sexual harassment and community issues. This course covers the basics skills and processes involved in Mediation.
