In this thorough introduction to SQL*Plus commands, you will learn to leverage the power of Oracle for select statements, common sort sequences, functions, regular expressions, pseudo-columns, inner joins, outer joins, reflexive joins, unions, intersects, and minus commands. Additionally, you will learn to isolate extreme values, use subqueries, and run top-n queries. Finally, you will be introduced to the SQL Data Definition Language (DDL) for controlling table schemas by creating, altering, dropping, and modifying. Finally, you will learn Data Manipulation Language (DML) for inserting, updating and also managing updates by setting rollback points, committing transactions, setting transactions, and implementing savepoints.
