Building effective teams is essential to the success of any organization. Progress, innovation and success are most often the result of many contributors working as a team. This course focuses on identifying characteristics of an effective team and techniques successful organizations utilize to construct effective teams. The course enables students to gain a new insight into the dynamics of teambuilding as well as to understand the stages of team development. Topics include team leadership, team roles and responsibilities, high performance teams, stages of team development and action plans.
