This hands-on course familiarizes building maintenance personnel, mechanical contractor technicians and property owners with the fundamentals of natural gas and maintenance procedures for furnaces and other gas-fired equipment. Subjects covered include: Basic electricity; Venting; Fundamentals of gas combustion; Basic design of gas appliances, controls and burners; Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems and components. This course is modeled on MLG&W's Basic Gas Course for Customer Service Personnel.
