This course is designed to help prepare individuals for taking the State of Tennessee Business and Law exam, which is a prerequisite exam for anyone who wants to be licensed as a contractor in a particular trade in the State of Tennessee. It is a practical course that is based on the 1999 Tennessee Contractor's Reference Manual. The course covers all of the laws affecting contractors in Tennessee and topics such as estimating, bidding, insurance, bonds, payroll, taxes and financial management.
