This course will be devoted to a study of the prime exposure factors and the technical factors of image quality. The relationship between milliamperage, kilovoltage, time, distance, density and contrast on a radiograph will be emphasized. Students will perform experiments to demonstrate the radiographic effect of manipulating the prime factors. A study of ancillary equipment to the x ray machine will be made, along with the principles of utilizing the equipment to best advantage.
